Quilt Guild Block of the Month

I made this as part of a BOM with my quilt guild. It incorporates piecing and wool applique. I really like how the colors turned out.

Pattern: It was a sort of choose your own adventure BOM deal. Some of them are based on where you are from, what you believe in (I went with a pussy hat, designed the block myself) or something you love (a tribute to my beloved Theresa, my pet cricket). I like that the finishing instructions let you sash stuff however so you could bring everything up to size.

Pattern: It was a choose your own adventure BOM.

Fabric: mostly scraps!

Quilting: I did some machine quilting with a walking foot and some iffy free motion quilting. I should probably go back and quilt more.

Finished size is 70″ square.
